Hrvoje Pukšec (Zagreb, 1976) is a film critic, journalist and screenwriter. After studying law and journalism, he has been active as a film critic and author of articles in numerous cultural magazines and online portals since 2000. He has also worked as a journalist, screenwriter and presenter for the Croatian Radio and Television. Between 2014 and 2017, he was the president of the artistic council of the Pula Film Festival. He wrote the scripts for the series Good Intentions (2007), the experimental film A.D.A.M. and the documentary Room 60. He is a long-standing member of the Croatian Film Critics Association, of which he was president twice, and an associate member of the Croatian Screenwriters and Playwrights Association. He has been a member of juries at the 25 FPS, Days of Croatian Film, DOK Leipzig, Cottbus, Message to Man, Motovun, Portorož and Stockholm festivals. In recent years, he has been a creative producer at the Pari Pikule association, program director of the Tolerance Festival, and is currently the executive director of ZagrebDox and head of public relations at the Factum association.
