During the many dramatic episodes of the siege of Sarajevo in the years 1992 to 1996, the story of the human safari remained hidden from the public. It was known to a select few that during the siege of Sarajevo, in addition to the Army of the Republika Srpska, volunteers and mercenaries, another small and mysterious group was working on the Serbian side. These were wealthy foreigners who paid high sums to be allowed to shoot at the inhabitants of besieged Sarajevo. The film gives the viewer an inkling of the absolute evil that hides under the masks of humanity, and at the same time brings an insight into the fate of those whose lives were changed forever by sniper bullets. Along with their suffering, it brings the viewer closer to their wisdom and strength of will to live.
