Alejandra is a documentary portrait of an accomplished Argentine literary figure, Alejandra Laurencich. Coming from an emigrant Slovenian family, who fled the misery following WW I, she is using her creativity to breathe new life into her family’s hardships of the past. This is but one layer of her complex identity and personality. We follow the author on her travels, exploring the contexts and spaces of her life and work, thus experiencing an artist’s embeddedness in life.
