After the death of Josip Broz Tito (1892 – 1980) in every of the six Republics and the two Autonomous Provinces there was a town chosen to get the name after the late leader. Today, this eight towns are in seven different states and none of them carries the Tito’s name any longer. The towns in that prosperity period were privileged, chosen for their focus on the socialistic /left/ political ideas and beliefs, working character of the citizens and hard industry. People were advanced by their urban way of life. The film tells the stories of each town, mainly through the stories of their citizens that have the experiences from that period. By recalling the memories and using some archive footage the past period revives and restores in front of our eyes. Many stories are tragic as just the towns were excluded from the destruction of the separating war. The crew travelles from one city to another, finding the most representative places to show past and present and the people that express their thoughts and feelings according to the misson the story carries.
