Mario, a man with an extensive knowledge of everything and everyone except himself, is a highly skilled drummer in Maribor. He has shared stages with exceptional Slovenian and foreign musicians, showcasing his talent in rock, ethno, and jazz both locally and internationally.

Amid his musical journey, Mario learns of a terminal cancer diagnosis, presenting a devastating prognosis with a limited shelf life. Despite the grim outlook, his strong desire to live compels him to accept even invasive treatments. As time ticks mercilessly, the director of this documentary proposes a challenge for Mario to step in front of the camera, recalling their collaboration on a previous feature film project.

Real-life scenes and fiction intertwine, creating an accidental analogy. Through conversations, Mario embarks on a "revision" of his musical journey, aided by memories and reflections from his musical colleagues. Together, they weave images of Maribor's musical scene from the late 1980s to the present day.

Facing his illness and anticipated "departure" introduces a new situation and perspective for Mario and his friends. The documentary becomes a co-creation in a "limited time-life frame," offering Mario an additional motive and the will to "live" for as long as he can.
