Two steps from the Baltic to the Adriatic is a documentary which tells the stories of four individuals who revived the cultural landscape of Lithuania, Poland, Hungary, and in the Slovene-Italian cross-border area at the turn of the nineteenth into the twentieth century. A multicultural, surprising, and tragic world that speaks of modern times as well.

Jan Mozetič (1984) is a director, cinematographer and director of photography. He studied art history at the State University of Milan. For several years he worked as a film critic and a critic of contemporary art, photography and comics. As a director of photography, he received the IRIS award from the Association of Cinematographers for the films A Quiet Day and Two Steps from the Baltic to the Adriatic.
