Siniša Gačić completed his studies in film and television editing at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television (AGRFT) in 2013. In 2016, he completed the second stage of studying Television Directing at AGRFT. Since 1999, he has been working with Television Slovenia as a journalist, screenwriter and director. He has produced several documentaries. In 2014, he won the Vesna award for the best feature film at the Slovenian Film Festival for his first full-length documentary, Boj za. In 2015, he received the Štigličev pogled award for outstanding direction, awarded by the Society of Slovenian Directors, for the film Boj za.
