On the Moon, Luna, and Their Reflection is an attempt at a portrait of indigenous religions of Slovenia. Although deities of two different indigenous religious systems do not overlap, the film focuses mainly on their common base—nature as the highest entity.

Ivana Vogrinc Vidali, born in 1997 in Maribor, attended Polančič Brothers Primary School and II. Maribor High School. Simultaneously, she enrolled in the Maribor Conservatory of Music and Ballet, initially focusing on French horn lessons and later transitioning to classical singing. Despite her enduring fascination with film, she only ventured into it in August 2014 during the DokuDoc festival workshops, resulting in her first (documentary) film, "Pilgrimage for a Cat." In the academic year 2016/2017, she commenced her studies in film and television directing at AGRFT. During her first year, she produced the short film "Dead Corner," followed by an experimental documentary film titled "About the Moon, the Moon and Their Reflection" a year later.
