In the heart of Ljubljana, the Workers' Advocacy Ofﬁce (Delavska svetovalnica) stands as a beacon of hope for society’s most vulnerable: working men and women, the unemployed, the disabled, pensioners, and migrants. Far surpassing the traditional boundaries of union work, this extraordinary organization fosters solidarity, champions justice, and envisions a more equitable future for the working class.

S. Kovačević graduated in cinematography from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb in 2009. He has worked as a cinematographer on numerous independent film and television productions and has shot several acclaimed documentaries, including Kinofil (2010) by Damir Janeček, Goli otok (2014) by Tiha K. Gudac, and Dnevi norosti (2018) by Damjan Nenadić. In 2021, he made his directorial debut with Tovarne delavcem, which received recognition at numerous international film festivals. What Needs to Be Done is his second feature-length film.
