Rebel, fighter for rights, post-punk and chansonnier. An unforgettable member of the Yugoslav new wave.
The feature-length documentary Praslovan tells the story of Zoran Predin's youth in working-class Maribor, the immense fame and popularity he achieved in Yugoslavia with the band Lačni Franz and his noble solo career with numerous hits that have become classics of our popular music. His most famous songs in the film reflect the important social changes of the time, as well as personal turning points in his life. This intimate portrait does not only show the good times - the camera does not look away even when it gets dark, but continues to observe how all this also affects his friends and family.
