Born in 1982 in Klagenfurt. She is a member of the Slovenian minority in the Austrian Carinthia. In 2000, she graduated from the Slovenian high school in Klagenfurt and continued her studies at the pedagogical academy in Klagenfurt. After successfully participating in the Austrian film festival Diagonale in 2003, she decided to study film directing at the Ljubljana AGRFT. She has already made several short and documentary films as well as a TV drama.
The film Sine Legibus - along the lines of 1976 is the director's first feature film.
