Skiing. One of the most popular social activities of Slovenians. The invention of the Slovenian skiing tradition marked our nation, and skiing events are our biggest national holidays. But winters are always less generous with snowflakes and low temperatures. Our lives are also changing. Some ski resorts closed forever and took away the space for us to socialize and spend our time actively. Many people lost their jobs. Some, however, took advantage of climate change and found a new way.

Haidy Kancler (alias Maja Senekovič) is an independent film director from Slovenia. She graduated from the study of media communication, majoring in documentary film. Already at the beginning of her studies, she started working at Television Slovenia, where she directed various live and non-live shows, documentaries,... Her filmography so far consists of more than 21 documentaries (2 international) and a huge variety of television shows, corporate films .
