The film, inspired by a book proposal for a scientific monograph of the same title, takes the form of an anthropological documentary. It chronicles the lives of street children in Makeyevka, a city in southeastern Ukraine. Divided into four chapters, each segment delves into a distinct aspect of life on the streets.
