Triglav: The Path of Redemption tells the story of Dare as he confronts events that took place 50 years ago. Two lightning strikes claimed the lives of a group of young hikers on Mount Triglav. Seeking to finally understand the tragedy, Dare faces his fears, guilt, and inability to change the past. Through interviews with the last living witnesses, he attempts to come to terms with the past and forgive himself. The film serves as a memorial to the victims and a message to today's hikers and mountaineers. It reflects the life lessons of the survivors, who believe that in natural disasters there are no culprits, only fate.

Aleš Žemlja, born in 1976 (Ljubljana, Slovenia), is a director, screenwriter, and editor known for his work on short films, animated films, television series, documentaries, commercials, and other film projects. Inspired by cinematic imagery from an early age, he seeks to capture the essence of a shot through words and images, subsequently reshaping it into a new whole. He enjoys experimenting across various genres while maintaining a sense of responsibility toward fellow human beings, nature, and culture.
